L'Italia fa la storia alla trave: D'Amato oro ed Esposito bronzo

PARIGI (FRANCIA) (ITALPRESS) – L'Italia festeggia una storica giornata alla trave, in una gara costellata da errori e cadute. Rebeca Andrade delude, Sunisa Lee e Simone Biles perdono l'equilibrio. Alice D'Amato, con uno strepitoso esercizio da 14.366 punti, conquista così un'incredibile medaglia d'oro alle Olimpiadi. L'azzurra consegna la prima vittoria all'Italia nella ginnastica femminile, dopo tre medaglie d'argento, precedendo la cinese Zhou Yaqin (14.100). E non è finita qui, visto che gli errori di Andrade consegnano anche il bronzo a Manila Esposito: la 18enne è terza con 14.000. Salgono così a 24 le medaglie azzurre, otto delle quali del metallo più prezioso in attesa della finale dello skeet a squadre misto. – foto Ipa Agency –(ITALPRESS).
