Lo Speaker della Camera al processo Trump: "E' una faccenda politica"

New York, 14 mag. (askanews) - L'ex presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump è arrivato al tribunale di New York dove si sta svolgendo un processo penale contro di lui accompagnato dal presidente repubblicano della Camera dei Rappresentanti, Mike Johnson. A Trump, il magistrato ha imposto un ordine di silenzio. Al suo posto si è espresso Johnson parlando ai reporter fuori dal tribunale. "E' impossibile per chiunque guardi a questa cosa oggettivamente negare che il sistema giudiziario nel nostro paese sia stato trasformato in un'arma contro il presidente Trump" ha detto, "Il sistema sta usando tutti i mezzi a sua disposizione adesso per punire un presidente e fornire copertura a un altro".
