Lombardia: missione Fontana in Usa termina a Indianapolis, c'è anche Spada

Milano, 24 mag. (Adnkronos) - La missione istituzionale negli Stati Uniti, guidata dal presidente di Regione Lombardia Attilio Fontana, è approdata oggi a Indianapolis. "Luogo che -sottolinea il governatore- inevitabilmente riconduce al legame che esiste tra gli autodromi di questa città e quello di Monza, celebrati in tutto il mondo come i 'Templi della Velocità' americano ed europeo". Nell'ultima tappa del viaggio, oltre al sottosegretario regionale alle Relazioni Internazionali e agli altri membri della delegazione, è presente anche il presidente di Assolombarda, Alessandro Spada. Tra gli appuntamenti che hanno scandito l'agenda della missione, l'intervento del governatore della Lombardia all'Indiana Global Economic Summit, che ha posto l'accento sul "ruolo chiave delle politiche e delle relazioni promosse dalla Regione per favorire il commercio, l'innovazione e in generale un modello economico, quello lombardo, sempre più innovativo e resiliente di fronte alle sfide globali". All'evento hanno preso parte anche Joe Hogsett, sindaco di Indianapolis, e a David Rosenberg, segretario al Commercio dello Stato dell'Indiana. "Anche la tappa odierna -afferma il sottosegretario regionale alle Relazioni internazionali, Raffaele Cattaneo- rafforza una missione che ha confermato come la Lombardia, oltre a essere motore trainante dell'economia del nostro Paese, sia apprezzata dagli americani per capacità relazionali in grado di sviluppare nuove e importanti collaborazioni. Un punto di partenza che, ne sono certo, avrà importanti ricadute sulle nostre imprese e più in generale sul nostro territorio". "Con Regione Lombardia -spiega il presidente Spada- è in atto una collaborazione sempre più proficua e attiva per la promozione del nostro territorio e per illustrare tutte le opportunità di investimento che ci sono in Italia, soprattutto sui temi della transizione digitale ed ecologica". "Qui a Indianapolis -aggiunge- è possibile apprezzare concretamente i risultati degli investimenti già realizzati dalle imprese italiane in questi territori nel campo dell'automotive. Inoltre, saremo presenti alla '500 Miglia' di Indianapolis che, insieme al Gran Premio d'Italia a Monza, è uno degli eventi automobilistici più antichi e iconici del mondo".
