L'Ultima cena gay finisce in disgrazia: caos a Parigi, cos'è successo al regista Jolly e alla dj Barbara Butch

Il direttore artistico della cerimonia d'apertura delle Olimpiadi parigine Thomas Jolly ha ricevuto minacce di morte. Nei giorni scorsi, la manifestazione di inaugurazione sulle rive della Senna è stata oggetto di dure critiche da parte dei conservatori di mezzo mondo. Mentre invece l'audience francese, ovviamente quello che non vota per Marine Le Pen, secondo un'indagine dell'istituto Harris Interactive ha considerato lo show un successo nonostante il maltempo. Nel frattempo, la Procura di Parigi ha annunciato ieri un'indagine sul cyberbullismo, per «insulti pubblici» e «diffamazione» riguardo «il suo orientamento sessuale e le sue radici israeliane erroneamente assunte». Anche Barbara Butch, la DJ lesbica e sostenitrice del fat shaming, protagonista di uno dei ruoli principali della scena, ha riferito di essere stata oggetto di minacce e molestie online, cosa che l'ha spinta a sporgere diverse denunce. Il presidente francese, Emmanuel Macron, si è dichiarato «triste» e «scioccato dalle minacce»: «Siamo molto orgogliosi di questa cerimonia – ha aggiunto –. La Francia ha mostrato il suo volto. Ha mostrato la sua audacia e lo ha fatto con un'adeguata libertà artistica». Anche il comitato organizzatore dei Giochi Olimpici di Parigi 2024 (Ocog) si è espresso per «condannare fermamente le minacce e le molestie».
