Matteo Salvini, il sopralluogo al cantiere in Stazione Termini

Il vicepremier e ministro delle Infrastrutture e dei trasporti, Matteo Salvini, il presidente della regione Lazio, Francesco Rocca, il sindaco di Roma, Roberto Gualtieri, i vertici di Anas, Rfi e Ferrovie, hanno svolto un sopralluogo al cantiere per la riqualificazione e sistemazione di Piazza dei Cinquecento, il piazzale antistante la stazione ferroviaria di Roma Termini. L'intervento ha l'obiettivo di rendere la piazza più accessibile e integrata con i sistemi di mobilità urbana (treno-bus-taxi); migliorare le condizioni di sicurezza e la qualità dello spazio urbano nonchè la mobilità pedonale e ciclabile ridisegnando i terminal bus e il molo taxi. I lavori per un costo complessivo di 30 milioni di euro, di cui 18 finanziati dal Mit, saranno pronti in una prima fase a dicembre 2024, in occasione del Giubileo 2025.
