Maurizio Stefanini: La risposta all'attacco contro Israele fa nascere la nuova alleanza militare contro l'Iran

Un bilancio più articolato si potrà tracciare evidentemente a più lungo termine, ma è per ora evidente che l'attacco dell'Uran ha fatto uscire Israele dall'isolamento in cui si stava cacciando, provocando in suo favore interventi non solo di Paesi occidentali, ma perfino arabi. Lo stesso portavoce delle Forze di difesa israeliane (Idf) Daniel Hagari, ha dichiarato che la Francia è stata tra i Paesi coinvolti nella difesa dall'attacco dell'Iran contro Israele di questa notte. Hagari, citato dal quotidiano The Times of Israel, ha dichiarato: «La Francia ha un'ottima tecnologia, caccia e radar. E so che ha contribuito a pattugliare lo spazio aereo», aggiungendo di non avere dettagli precisi sul fatto che i caccia francesi abbiano abbattuto uno dei missili lanciati dall'Iran. I funzionari israeliani hanno affermato che anche gli Stati Uniti, la Gran Bretagna e la Giordania hanno contribuito a intercettare la massiccia raffica di droni che l'Iran ha lanciato contro Israele durante la notte. Le Idf hanno riferito che nell'attacco iraniano, il primo diretto della Repubblica islamica contro Israele, sono stati lanciati circa 170 droni, 30 missili da crociera e 120 missili balistici. Anche Rishi Sunak ha confermato che aerei della Raf sono stati inviati in Medio Oriente per demolire «un numero, non determinato, di droni iraniani in risposta all'attacco di Teheran contro Israele». In una dichiarazione alla Bbc, il primo ministro britannico si è detto grato «allo sforzo di cooperazione internazionale e alla partecipazione del Regno Unito, nel caso in cui tutti i missili venissero intercettati, nessuno in Israele, ma anche nei Paesi vicini», come la Giordania. Secondo quanto ha riferito il Guardian sulla base di fonti della difesa britannica, il Regno Unito ha messo a disposizione, nell'operazione congiunta di difesa dall'attacco iraniano a Israele, i caccia Typhoon della Raf. L'operazione è stata annunciata come un'estensione delle missioni di sorveglianza e bombardamento anti-Stato Islamico di lunga data in Iraq e Siria, chiamate Operazione Shader. LO SCHIERAMENTO Chi ha fatto i conti sono invece gli Stati Uniti. Le forze statunitensi di stanza in Medio Oriente hanno intercettato oltre 70 droni e almeno tre dei missili balistici lanciati dall'Iran contro Israele nelle scorse ore, secondo quanto hanno dichiarato alla Cnn due funzionari Usa a conoscenza della questione, in condizioni di anonimato. I missili sono stati intercettati da navi da guerra Usa nel Mediterraneo Orientale. I funzionari hanno ricordato che la Marina statunitense ha inviato nell'area due cacciatorpediniere lanciamissili in grado di intercettare droni e missili. Alle operazioni di difesa aerea hanno preso parte anche aerei da combattimento. Anche la Germania è stata parte della coalizione che ha sostenuto Israele, a quanto si può capire dalla decisione del ministero degli Esteri dell'Iran di convocare anche l'ambasciatore tedesco a Teheran Hans-Udo Muzel, assieme al collega britannico Simon Shercliff e al francese Nicolas Roche, per discutere la «posizione irresponsabile» assunta dai loro Paesi riguardo all'attacco notturno di Teheran contro Israele. Lo ha riferito l'agenzia di stampa iraniana Ilna. Il cancelliere tedesco, Olaf Scholz, ha affermato che l'attacco al territorio israeliano lanciato dall'Iran è «ingiustificabile e altamente irresponsabile». «L'Iran rischia un'ulteriore escalation nella regione. La Germania resta al fianco di Israele e discuteremo della situazione con i nostri alleati», ha scritto il cancelliere su X. Ancora più pesante l'irritazione contro la Giordania. Fonti vicine ai Pasdaran hanno fatto sapere che l'Iran sta «monitorando da vicino» le attività della Giordania e qualora Amman «dovesse decidere di impegnarsi in qualche azione futura, rischierebbe di diventare il prossimo obiettivo delle operazioni militari iraniane». Il riferimento è appunto all'abbattimento di alcuni droni iraniani effettuato nella notte da parte della Giordania mentre si stavano dirigendo verso Israele. È stato lo stesso governo giordano ha rendere noto di aver intercettato diversi droni e missili durante l'attacco militare iraniano della notte tra sabato e domenica, dopo una riunione al termine della quale ha lanciato un appello a tutte le parti «a esercitare la moderazione e gestire le tensioni regionali con disciplina e responsabilità». Nella riunione del governo guidata dal primo ministro Bisher Khasawneh si è sottolineata l'importanza della de-escalation, sottolineando al contempo che le forze giordane sono pronte a rispondere a tutte le minacce che mettono a rischio la sicurezza dei cittadini giordani o il suo territorio e spazio aereo. Il governo ha detto che sono stati intercettati «diversi oggetti volanti nello spazio aereo giordano, e se diversi frammenti sono caduti in varie località, non ci sono notizie di significativi danni o feriti».
