Meteo, "eventi estremi": cosa succede in pochissimi giorni, la "mappa"

Dopo giorni di pioggia, vento e freddo, soprattutto al Nord, è arrivato tempo stabile e soleggiato. Che però non durerà a lungo. La responsabilità è del connubio tra un vortice africano in arrivo e quello ancora presente tra la Spagna e l'Europa centrale, che potrebbe creare una situazione meteorologica instabile all'inizio della prossima settimana. Il maltempo potrebbe interessare soprattutto la regione mediterranea. E non è escluso il rischio di nuovi eventi estremi, come nubifragi e grandinate. All'interno del vortice si mescoleranno masse d'aria fresche oceaniche e masse d'aria calde nord-africane: si verranno a creare così dei contrasti atmosferici significativi che favoriranno lo sviluppo di forti piogge, spesso accompagnate da temporali violenti. Il rischio di eventi estremi si verificherà soprattutto nelle regioni centro-settentrionali. La fase più critica è prevista tra lunedì 20 e martedì 21 maggio. I primi temporali sono attesi tra domenica e lunedì sulle regioni centrali, la Sardegna e il Nordovest. Anche se i fenomeni più diffusi partiranno dal pomeriggio di lunedì. Inizialmente coinvolgeranno la Sardegna, la fascia centrale tirrenica e il Nordovest, poi si estenderanno anche alla Lombardia e al resto del Centro durante la serata. Il momento più critico potrebbe verificarsi nella notte tra lunedì e martedì soprattutto al Nord e al Centro.
