M.O., Blinken: "L'accordo va concluso entro i prossimi giorni"

Doha, 21 ago. (askanews) - Il segretario di Stato americano Antony Blinken ha insistito che l'accordo per il cessate il fuoco a Gaza deve essere concluso entro i prossimi giorni. Il numero uno della politica estera statunitense lo ha spiegato a Doha, parlando con i giornalisti. Gli Usa, Egitto e Qatar - ha sottolineato - faranno tutto il possibile per convincere Hamas. Lo stesso leader della formazione politica palestinese, Yahya Sinwar, avrebbe ricevuto la cosiddetta "proposta ponte". "Siamo impegnati ogni singolo giorno con Israele - ha detto Blinken - e i nostri partner del Qatar e dell'Egitto sono impegnati con Hamas, e nei prossimi giorni faremo tutto il possibile per coinvolgere Hamas nella proposta ponte, e poi per assicurarci che entrambe le parti lavorino e concordino sui necessari dettagli di implementazione".
