Mo: Francia critica voto Knesset contro Stato palestinese

Parigi, 18 lug. (Adnkronos) - La Francia critica il voto di ieri della Knesset contro uno Stato palestinese, affermando che “solo la soluzione dei due Stati può portare una pace giusta e duratura sia agli israeliani che ai palestinesi e garantire la stabilità nella regione”. Il Quai d'Orsay condanna inoltre la visita del ministro israeliano della Sicurezza nazionale, Itamar Ben Gvir, al Monte del Tempio di Gerusalemme, avvenuta questa mattina, definendola una "violazione dello status quo sulla spianata della moschea". “Queste azioni irresponsabili rischiano di destabilizzare ulteriormente la regione”, afferma in un comunicato il ministero degli Esteri francese. "La Francia ricorda la necessità di preservare lo status quo storico sui Luoghi Santi di Gerusalemme e sottolinea l'importanza del ruolo specifico della Giordania in questo senso".
