Mo: Katz, 'Francia condanni richiesta Cpi contro Israele'

Parigi, 21 mag. (Adnkronos) - Il ministro degli Esteri israeliano Israel Katz ha chiesto al suo omologo francese Stéphane Séjourné “di dichiarare forte e chiaro che la decisione del procuratore capo della Cpi è inaccettabile per lui e per il governo francese, indipendentemente dall'autorità della corte”. Parlando in un evento parigino per celebrare i 75 anni di relazioni tra Israele e Francia, Katz ha aggiunto che “questo è ciò che hanno fatto i nostri amici in tutto il mondo, e questo è ciò che mi aspetto dal nostro amico, il governo francese”. "La Francia riconosce l'indipendenza della Corte penale internazionale", aveva affermato Séjourné. “Spetterà ora ai giudici della Cpi decidere se questi mandati verranno concessi”. Il ministro francese aveva anche esortato a non tracciare una “equivalenza” tra le richieste di mandato d'arresto per i leader israeliani e quelli di Hamas.
