Mo: Netanyahu insiste, 'dobbiamo controllare corridoio di Philadelphia'

Tel Aviv, 3 set. (Adnkronos) - Il controllo del corridoio di Philadelphia, lungo il confine di Gaza con l'Egitto, è uno degli obiettivi principali della guerra. Lo sostiene il primo ministro israeliano Benjamin Netanyhau, rafforzando la sua posizione sull'argomento che tuttavia è anche un ostacolo chiave per un accordo di cessate il fuoco. Sfidando le proteste in patria e le critiche del presidente Usa Joe Biden, in una accesa conferenza stampa il premier ha detto che Israele non avrebbe ceduto il controllo su quello che considera un corridoio strategico. "Israele non accetterà il massacro di sei ostaggi, Hamas pagherà un prezzo alto", ha affermato Netanyahu, in piedi di fronte a una mappa della Striscia di Gaza grande quanto un muro, che includeva clip art di bombe e missili che attraversano il confine. "L'asse del male dell'Iran ha bisogno del corridoio di Philadelphia... e Israele deve controllarlo".
