Gaza, 18 lug. (Adnkronos) - Il virus della poliomielite è stato trovato nelle acque reflue di Gaza. Lo ha annunciato il ministero della Sanità di Gaza, precisando che i test condotti su campioni di acque reflue in coordinamento con l'Unicef hanno rivelato la presenza del virus. In una nota, il ministaro aggiunge che la presenza del virus, unita alla mancanza di acqua potabile, espone migliaia di persone al rischio di contrarre la malattia. Il ministero ha invitato Israele a cessare gli attacchi, a riparare il sistema fognario e a fornire acqua potabile ai campi sovraffollati in cui si rifugiano i palestinesi.
