Ordine medici Roma, 'erba incolta alza rischio contatti con virus'

Roma, 4 giu. (Adnkronos Salute) - Parchi, ville comunali ma anche aiuole e spartitraffico con erba alta e incolta che da mesi. "Non dovremmo vedere questo spettacolo nelle città, quindi alle amministrazioni che pensano sia una scelta a favore della biodiversità, diciamo di uscire e andare a pulire questi spazi perché l'erba alta e incolta alza il rischio di contatti tra animali, bambini e i tanti virus portati da vettori come zanzare e zecche che si annidano proprio nell'erba. Con l'arrivo dell'estate è meglio non peggiorare una situazione già al limite". Così all'Adnkronos Salute Antonio Magi, presidente dell'Ordine dei Medici e Chirurghi di Roma e provincia, interviene dopo l'appello lanciato dall'infettivologo Matteo Bassetti proprio su questo tema. "C'è un rischio più alto per i bambini, più inconsapevoli degli adulti del pericolo di buttarsi nell'erba alta", chiosa Magi.
