RemTech, focus su dissesto idrogeologico, Pnrr e Green Deal

Ferrara, 20 set. (askanews) - Dissesto idrogeologico, Pnrr e Green Deal europeo. Sono i temi al centro della seconda giornata dei lavori della 18esima edizione di RemTech Expo, l'Hub Tecnologico Ambientale in corso alla fiera di Ferrara che ha ricevuto la medaglia del presidente della Repubblica. "Un riconoscimento che ci spinge sempre più a essere un contesto inclusivo, un grande punto di ascolto e soprattutto un punto nel quale tracciamo una rotta e diamo un supporto effettivo al Paese e all'Europa". I danni per il maltempo in Romagna sono stati più volte oggetto di confronto tra geologi, climatologi, ingegneri e decisori politici intervenuti all'Hub Tecnologico Ambientale in corso alla fiera di Ferrara. Massimiliano Fazzini, climatologo dell'Università di Camerino. "Il territorio non è più resiliente perché evidentemente è stata fatta una pianificazione territoriale completamente sbagliata nei confronti del problema idrologico e idraulico - ha spiegato Massimiliano Fazzini, climatologo dell'Università di Camerino e coordinatore di Climate RemTech -. I danni che si sono verificati anche questa volta non sono altro che i risultati degli errori macroscopici fatti già dal Dopoguerra". I cambiamenti climatici influenzano la gestione del territorio come ha ricordato Gianluca Loffredo, vicecommissario per gli eccezionali eventi meteorologici a Ischia del 2022, che ha presentato recenti studi realizzati con la Banca degli Investimenti Europei. "Prevediamo un significativo aumento dell'intensità delle precipitazioni entro il 2050" ha spiegato Loffredo, evidenziando l'importanza di dimensionare adeguatamente le infrastrutture di difesa territoriale e costiera per adattarsi ai cambiamenti climatici. Anche il presidente del Consiglio Nazionale dei Geologi, Arcangelo Francesco Violo, ha espresso preoccupazione. "Gli eventi meteorici estremi sono sempre più frequenti, come testimoniano le emergenze in Romagna - ha affermato Violo -. L'Italia è un paese ad alto rischio idrogeologico, con il 90% dei comuni in aree a rischio di frane o alluvioni. È necessario elaborare piani pluriennali e avviare progetti per mitigare tali rischi". La seconda giornata di RemTech Expo ha cementato l'importanza di coordinare gli sforzi e pianificare azioni a lungo termine per affrontare la crisi climatica e i suoi effetti devastanti sui territori italiani.
