La parola chiave è staged, messa in scena. Basta digitarla su uno qualsiasi dei social e ti si apre un mondo. Quello di chi crede che l'attentato a Donald Trump sia stata, appunto, una messa in scena. Per alcuni - i detrattori del magnate - si è trattato di un modo per favorirlo ulteriormente nella corsa alla Casa Bianca. Per altri- i sostenitori di The Donald - è stato un complotto democratici per farlo fuori e vincere le elezioni. Benvenuti nel magico mondo dei complottisti. Come anticipato, ce n'è per tutti i gusti. Si va dai commentatori ai politici, passando per i normali utenti della rete, che spesso sono i più scatenati. Partiamo con la carrellata. Gli analisti del Washington Post hanno fatto una ricerca prima su account riconducibili a simpatizzanti di sinistra e quello che ne è uscito è che questi pensano che Trump abbia organizzato questa messa in scena per apparire come un «martire» o un «eroe» e garantirsi un vantaggio su Biden per vincere le elezioni. I repubblicani analizzati non sono da meno e puntano il dito contro il presidente in carica accusandolo di essere, nel migliore dei casi, il «mandante morale» del tentato omicidio a Trump.
