Sant'Erasmo, Lagalla: "Passo concreto verso rigenerazione area porto"

Palermo, 4 lug. (Adnkronos) - "Oggi si compie un altro concreto e importante passo di rigenerazione dell'area del porto con l'obiettivo che questa amministrazione ha fissato nell'ultimo biennio: tornare a guardare il nostro mare, senza più voltargli le spalle come succede da decenni". Così Roberto Lagalla, sindaco di Palermo, che ha partecipato oggi all'inaugurazione della passeggiata che da Sant'Erasmo porta al Foro Italico, a Palermo. "Se oggi raggiungiamo questo risultato e guardiamo con fiducia e ambizione ai prossimi traguardi, è grazie all'intensa e proficua collaborazione tra il Comune e l'Autorità portuale, per la quale ringrazio la costante disponibilità del suo presidente Monti. Insieme e in sinergia stiamo portando avanti progetti che vanno dalla riqualificazione del Foro Italico a quella di via Crispi affinché questo asse diventi davvero il biglietto da visita che vogliamo per chi raggiunge Palermo dal mare e per i palermitani stessi. Tutto questo vogliamo realizzarlo all'insegna del rispetto per l'ambiente e con la possibilità di creare nuovi servizi a cittadini e turisti”, ha concluso il sindaco.
