"Siamo preoccupati": voto-farsa in Venezuela, il siluro americano su Maduro

Il Segretario di Stato americano Antony Blinken ha dichiarato che Washington nutre “serie preoccupazioni” sul fatto che i risultati delle elezioni presidenziali del Venezuela “non riflettono la volontà o i voti del popolo venezuelano”. Anche le opposizioni del presidente uscente Nicolás Maduro hanno denunciato delle irregolarità dopo l'annuncio della sua riconferma. Maduro, in corsa per un terzo mandato, ha ottenuto il 51% dei voti, superando il candidato dell'opposizione Edmundo González, che ha ottenuto il 44%. Gli esiti si basano sull'80% dei seggi e l'autorità elettorale, controllata dai fedelissimi dell'ex presidente, deve ancora pubblicare i conteggi ufficiali dei voti.
