Kiev, 9 ago. (Adnkronos) - "La Russia ha portato la guerra nel nostro territorio e dovrebbe sentire su di sé ciò che ha fatto". Lo ha affermato il presidente ucraino Volodymyr Zelensky, riferendosi, senza menzionarlo, all'attacco transfrontaliero di tre giorni fa dell'Ucraina alla regione russa di Kursk. "Gli ucraini sanno come raggiungere i loro obiettivi. E non abbiamo scelto di raggiungere i nostri obiettivi in guerra", ha aggiunto Zelensky. La Russia afferma che almeno 1.000 soldati ucraini, supportati da carri armati e veicoli blindati, sono entrati nel suo territorio martedì mattina, in quello che sembra essere uno dei più grandi assalti al suolo russo dall'inizio della guerra. In precedenza il presidente russo Vladimir Putin aveva accusato l'Ucraina di "grave provocazione". I funzionari ucraini sono rimasti in gran parte in silenzio sull'offensiva. La situazione esatta sul campo è difficile da determinare, con pochi dettagli specifici rilasciati da entrambe le parti.
