Ucraina, Zelensky: abbiamo il controllo della città russa di Sudzha

Kiev, 16 ago. (askanews) - Il presidente ucraino, Volodymyr Zelensky, ha rivendicato che le truppe di Kiev hanno ormai pieno controllo della città russa di Sudzha, che prima della guerra aveva una popolazione di 5.000 persone e ospita infrastrutture per il pompaggio del gas russo verso l'Europa. Sudzha si trova a circa dieci chilometri all'interno del territorio russo ed è il più grande degli 80 insediamenti che l'Ucraina sostiene di aver conquistato nei dieci giorni dall'inizio della sua incursione a sorpresa in Russia. Inoltre, il comandante dell'esercito ucraino Oleksandr Syrsky ha dichiarato che le truppe hanno preso il controllo di decine di villaggi e di oltre mille chilometri quadrati di territorio nella regione russa di Kursk. "In totale, dall'inizio delle operazioni le nostre truppe sono avanzate per 35 chilometri di profondità", ha dichiarato.
