Ue: Ruotolo (Pd), 'da Meloni liste di proscrizione contro stampa libera'

Roma, 30 lug. (Adnkronos) - "Quello che è successo ha un nome e cognome e si chiama lista di proscrizione. Una presidente del Consiglio, la donna più importante che abbiamo nel nostro paese, non può farlo. Non può dividere i giornalisti tra quelli anti Meloni e gli altri". Così Sandro Ruotolo, europarlamentare e responsabile Informazione nella segreteria nazionale del Pd. "Il giornalista deve essere indipendente e informare correttamente. Definire un giornalista anti Meloni lo si espone anche fisicamente. Si tratta di un attacco gigantesco contro la libertà di informazione e si scontra con l'art. 21 della nostra Costituzione. Quando la premier cita nomi e testate mette tutto il suo carico di potere contro e in una democrazia la politica non può mettere in discussione l'informazione. La stampa deve informare liberamente l'opinione pubblica e deve accendere i riflettori sulla politica. L'informazione è il cane da guardia della democrazia, non ci stancheremo mai di ripeterlo e non può sottostare alla politica. Il Partito Democratico starà sempre dalla parte dell'articolo 21 della Costituzione”.
