Usa, controlli su carne bovina nei negozi per verificare presenza H5N1

Roma, 30 apr. (Adnkronos Salute) - Dopo le verifiche sul latte crudo, l'epidemia di influenza aviaria H5N1 negli allevamenti bovini negli Stati Uniti ha portato il Dipartimento dell'Agricoltura americano a condurre tre distinti studi sulla carne bovina per verificare la presenza di H5N1 anche nella filiera al dettaglio e nelle macellerie. L'allarme generato dall'influenza aviaria nel settore zootecnico e la ricaduta sulla filiera, dopo lo stop all'importazione di carne decisa dalla Colombia, sta portando le autorità ad indagare per rassicurare sul consumo di carne cucinata. Ci saranno anche delle verifiche - riporta la 'Cnn' - sulla carne cotta, ovvero si inserirà nell'alimento un surrogato del virus per testare la sopravvivenza alle alte temperature della cottura.
