"Valutare il ripristino della leva": ecco che cosa può cambiare

Ieri al Senato è andata in scena la discussione sul dl in materia di associazioni sindacali tra militari, personale militare e civile del ministero della Difesa. L'aula ha dato il via libera alla costituzione di associazioni che possano tutelare i soldati che operano all'interno del corpo. «Nel mondo del lavoro c'era un vulnus incomprensibile a cui oggi si pone fine. Con questo decreto si riconoscono a tutti gli italiani, a prescindere dalla loro professione, i medesimi diritti» ha dichiarato la senatrice di FdI Giovanna Petrenga. Durante il dibattito al Senato sono emerse diverse proposte per implementare il testo. Fra queste, la più radicale è stata quella del meloniano Roberto Menia. «Potrebbe essere utile valutare la possibilità di riproporre il servizio militare, attualmente sospeso. Non sarebbe così folle - spiega - interrogarsi sull'opportunità di reintrodurlo, visto che lo stanno facendo nostri partner in ambito dell'Unione europea e in ambito Nato». L'esponente della maggioranza ha continuato citando la carta costituzionale: «Ricordo a tal proposito che l'articolo 52 della Costituzione afferma che la Difesa della Patria è sacro dovere del cittadino».
