Venezuela: Blinken, 'seria preoccupazione per risultato elettorale'

Tokyo, 29 lug. (Adnkronos) - Gli Stati Uniti hanno espresso dubbi sul fatto che i risultati annunciati dalla commissione elettorale venezuelana, secondo cui Nicolás Maduro ha vinto le elezioni, riflettano effettivamente la volontà del popolo venezuelano. "Siamo seriamente preoccupati che il risultato annunciato non rifletta la volontà o i voti del popolo venezuelano", ha detto il segretario di Stato americano Antony Blinken durante una visita a Tokyo, invitando la commissione elettorale a pubblicare i risultati completi e affermando che "è fondamentale che ogni voto venga conteggiato in modo equo e trasparente". L'opposizione non ha riconosciuto la presunta vittoria di Maduro e ha affermato di aver vinto le elezioni. Blinken ha invitato le autorità elettorali venezuelane a "condividere immediatamente le informazioni con l'opposizione e gli osservatori indipendenti". "La comunità internazionale sta osservando la situazione molto da vicino e risponderà di conseguenza", ha aggiunto.
