Moussa Sangare, il 31enne italiano di origini africane fermato ieri notte per l'omicidio di Sharon Verzeni, la barista uccisa con quattro coltellate esattamente un mese fa, agli inquirenti nella sua confessione ha spiegato di aver avuto un raptus improvviso e di aver agito senza un motivo, ma in verità avrebbe "come da lui stesso dichiarato, puntato il coltello contro due ragazzini di 15 e 16 anni, minacciandoli", ha fatto sapere ieri nel corso della conferenza stampa la procuratrice aggiunta Maria Cristina Rota che ha caldamente invitato i due minorenni a presentarsi in Caserma. I due giovani, infatti, sarebbero potuti finire nelle violente mani del killer, ma a salvarli ci ha pensato il destino dato che Sangare avrebbe "desistito nei loro confronti e si è imbattuto nella signora Verzeni". L'uomo quando l'ha incrociata su via Castegnate proveniva dalla direzione opposta, "evidentemente ha deciso di fare inversione di rotta e seguire la vittima fino al momento dell'aggressione", che non è stata ripresa dalle telecamere. Sangare era uscito di casa "con 4 coltelli e quindi l'obiettivo evidente - come da quello che ha dichiarato - era di andare a colpire qualcuno", ha spiegato la procuratrice facente funzioni Maria Cristina Rota in conferenza stampa. Un omicidio apparentemente senza motivo".
