"Volevo lasciare un segno": sfregia una domus a Pompei e poi si scusa, chi hanno beccato

Sfregia la Casa delle Vestali a Pompei e poi cerca di giustificarsi, dicendo: "Volevo lasciare un segno del mio passaggio". Nel mirino ci è finito un turista inglese di 37 anni, che su una delle pareti del monumento di Pompei ha inciso le iniziali del suo nome e poi quelli delle figlie. Accanto compare la data di oggi, mercoledì 7 agosto. Il suo gesto è stato subito denunciato dai carabinieri alla Procura di Torre Annunziata per danneggiamento al patrimonio artistico. La segnalazione alle forze dell'ordine è arrivata invece dal personale addetto alla vigilanza del sito archeologico. Il turista inglese, infatti, sarebbe stato colto in flagrante mentre reggeva ancora l'oggetto contundente con cui aveva fatto le sue cinque incisioni su una delle pareti della domus. Nella parte superiore dell'incisione si leggono chiaramente la lettere "JW LMW MW", le iniziali dei nomi; mentre nella parte bassa della parete è incisa la data "07/08/24" e sotto la scritta "MYLAW". Il 37enne, nel frattempo, è stato segnalato alla prefettura per i provvedimenti amministrativi del caso. Alla fine, si è scusato e ha spiegato di aver fatto quelle incisioni per un motivo ben preciso, lasciare un segno della sua visita nel sito archeologico di Pompei.
