Zapata non basta al Toro, Niang lancia l'Empoli

EMPOLI (ITALPRESS) – Nel posticipo della trentunesima giornata di Serie A, l'Empoli batte 3-2 il Torino e compie un importante scatto verso la salvezza. Al Castellani va in scena una partita ricca di colpi di scena e caratterizzata da un recupero folle: i marcatori della serata per l'Empoli sono Cambiaghi, Cancellieri e Niang, mentre per il Torino segna una doppietta Zapata. In apertura l'Empoli sblocca subito il risultato, grazie alla prima rete stagionale di Cambiaghi: al 6′ l'ex Atalanta calcia di potenza col sinistro dal limite dell'area, piegando le mani di Milinkovic e realizzando il gol dell'1-0. Dopo un inizio di partita scoppiettante, la prima frazione si rivela equilibrata e molto tattica ma il Toro manca di precisione. Nei primi minuti della ripresa l'Empoli soffre la reazione orgogliosa dei granata e, al 52′, Caprile salva i toscani, compiendo un miracolo sul colpo di testa ravvicinato di Zapata. Il pari è, però, ormai nell'aria e proprio Zapata, su corner di Vojvoda, pareggia di testa vincendo il duello con Luperto. Nicola attinge allora dalla panchina per invertire l'inerzia psicologica del match. Proprio gli ingressi di Maleh e Cancellieri si rivelano decisivi e al 74′ i padroni di casa ritornano in vantaggio: su azione di ripartenza, Maleh serve Cancellieri, bravo a segnare il 2-1, grazie ad un sinistro secco. Il Torino prende gol nel suo miglior momento di forma, ma la squadra di Juric non ne vuole sapere di arrendersi. I minuti di recupero sono semplicemente folli e accede di tutto: prima Zapata segna il 2-2 ancora di testa, poi, due minuti più tardi, Niang riporta l'Empoli in vantaggio, sfruttando l'ingenuità di Bellanova. Con questo successo l'Empoli sale a quota 28 punti, distaccando di tre punti la zona retrocessione e mettendo fine a una striscia negativa che durava da 4 partite.
