Colombia, Harry e Meghan visitano una scuola e un centro per veterani

Bogotà, 17 ago. (askanews) - Prosegue il viaggio in Colombia del principe Harry e di sua moglie Meghan Markle. La coppia, ancora a Bogotà, ha visitato un centro di riabilitazione per veterani di guerra, accompagnata dalla vicepresidente colombiana Francia Marquez, una struttura che partecipa agli Invictus Games, la competizione sportiva per veterani e militari feriti creata proprio da Harry. Dopo l'incontro con alcuni atleti e un giro ai campi sportivi, il secondogenito di Re Carlo III si è anche messo in gioco tra i veterani che si allenavano. Precedentemente la coppia aveva fatto visita agli alunni di una scuola nel Sud di Bogotà, visitato un museo con diverse opere create dagli studenti e dedicate ai massacri perpetrati in diverse regioni della Colombia e partecipato con i ragazzi ad alcune attività. La visita del Duca e della Duchessa di Sussex in Colombia è stata fortemente voluta dalla vicepresidente Marquez ed è incentrata sulla lotta alla discriminazione e al cyberbullismo nel Paese. Harry e Meghan successivamente si recheranno nel Nord, a Cartagena; il viaggio si concluderà a Cali il 18 agosto, nel Sud-Ovest.
