Germania: Berlino, 'nuovi controlli frontiere saranno 'mirati' per evitare code'

Berlino, 15 set. (Adnkronos/Dpa) - I controlli alle frontiere tedesche saranno mirati a "combattere la criminalità transfrontaliera e limitare ulteriormente l'immigrazione irregolare" e saranno condotti 'a campione'. Lo ha dichiarato il ministero dell'Interno tedesco, alla vigilia, domani, dell'entrata in vigore delle nuove misure adottate da Berlino per limitare l'immigrazione irregolare. Gli Stati confinanti hanno espresso preoccupazione per il fatto che i controlli alle frontiere porteranno a code, ostacolando il regolare traffico transfrontaliero. La polizia effettuerà i controlli a campione "in modo flessibile e secondo le attuali esigenze di sicurezza", ha affermato il ministero dell'Interno. L'entità, la durata e le sedi specifiche dei controlli dipenderebbero da questi fattori. Il ministro dell'Interno Nancy Faeser ha affermato che la Germania "continuerà ad agire in stretto coordinamento" con i Paesi confinanti e garantirà che "le persone nelle regioni di confine, i pendolari, il commercio e gli affari siano colpiti il meno possibile dai controlli". Al quotidiano Bild am Sonntag ha detto che non ci saranno lunghi ingorghi. Tuttavia, il suo ministero ha precisato che non si possono escludere disagi, pur sottolineando che i viaggiatori e i pendolari dovrebbero portare con sé un documento di identità quando attraversano il confine.
