Cari lettori, qui sopra potete ammirare l'ultima (formidabile) copertina dell'Economist. Il settimanale britannico riassume così la grave e straordinaria condizione degli Stati Uniti d'America, il seal, lo stemma del Presidente piazzato su un deambulatore, e il titolo No Way to Runa Country, non è il modo di governare un Paese. Il servizio all'interno è ancora più diretto, nel caso qualche anima bella abbia dei dubbi sull'oggetto e soprattutto il soggetto: “Il presidente e il suo partito si presentano come i salvatori della democrazia. Le loro azioni dicono il contrario”. Si parla di Joe Biden, di cui anche l'Economist (insieme al New York Times e a tutta la smemorata famiglia dei media democratici) chiede il ritiro dalla corsa per la Casa Bianca dopo il disastroso dibattito con Donald. La sequenza di appelli e impietosi ritratti di Biden pubblicati dai giornali (cose che qui farebbero gridare al golpe sovranista) segnala la burrasca, il problema di una democrazia - la più grande, il faro dell'ordine liberale che ha mancato di onestà nel raccontare lo stato di salute del presidente, nascondendo con una serie di menzogne seriali l'incapacità di Biden di affrontare la campagna presidenziale.
