Daniil Medvedev delira contro Jannik Sinner e Carlos Alcaraz. Il russo sta disputando il Masters 1000 di Shanghai, ma non sembra stare attraversando un buon momento. Dopo una turbolenta partita vinta contro Matteo Arnaldi, ha spiegato perché durante il match ha protestato con veemenza - anche esibendo un gesto volgare - contro le palline. Il motivo? Secondo Medvedev favorirebbero l'azzurro e lo spagnolo. Ha fatto il giro del mondo la scena in cui Medvedev si è portato una pallina da tennis all'altezza del fondoschiena. Secondo il russo, queste palline non potrebbero essere utilizzate neanche come sostituto della carta igienica. Ma poi, una volta portato a casa il match, il russo si è diretto dalle parti della telecamera a bordo campo e, con ironia, ci ha scritto sopra: "Belle palle". "Penso che fondamentalmente queste palline favoriscano quei giocatori che traggono forza dal nulla - ha spiegato Medvedev dopo il match contro Arnaldi -. In realtà i due migliori giocatori al mondo, sono già bravi in questo e lo sarebbero anche senza queste palline. Ma loro con queste sono gli unici giocatori che possono generare una potenza pazzesca.
