Mario Sechi: ora l'obiettivo è abbattere la teocrazia

L'Iran per la seconda volta nella storia ha attaccato direttamente Israele lanciando una pioggia di missili che è stata in gran parte intercettata e distrutta dal sistema terra -aria Iron Dome e dai mezzi della difesa americana che sorvegliano il mare e lo spazio aereo dell'alleato. Sembra la replica di quanto è già accaduto nell'aprile scorso dopo il bombardamento della sede diplomatica iraniana in Siria, a Damasco, ma in realtà lo scenario è radicalmente cambiato in favore di Israele. In quel momento il premier Netanyahu non aveva consolidato la sua strategia, la pressione (interna e esterna) su Gerusalemme era alta e Hamas contava di guadagnare tempo per riorganizzarsi. Cinque mesi dopo, Ismail Hanyeh, leader di Hamas, è stato ucciso nel luogo dove si sentiva al sicuro, a Teheran, il suo successore, Yahya Sinwar, è un uomo in fuga, mentre il capo di Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, è stato sepolto dalle bombe anti -bunker a Beirut. Netanyahu è in una posizione di enorme vantaggio strategico, ha appena messo a segno una formidabile settimana della vittoria, con una serie di straordinari colpi di intelligence e blitz militari che hanno disarticolato Hezbollah, mentre Hamas è un'organizzazione fantasma. Lo scudo e la spada che servivano all'Iran per esercitare un potere di deterrenza su Israele sono spezzati. Il cerchio si stringe, gli ultimatum dei Pasdaran, le minacce oracolari dell'Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (un altro uomo in fuga) sono una tigre di carta, il regime di Teheran non è mai stato così debole, la fragilità militare è palese, l'isolamento internazionale rispetto agli altri Paesi del Golfo è un fatto visibile nelle macerie di Gaza e Beirut. Israele ha dimostrato di poter penetrare con facilità la difesa aerea dell'Iran e colpire una lista di bersagli che lampeggia sugli schermi dei generali. Attendono solo il via libera del premier Netanyahu, che può calibrare l'azione militare pensando all'obiettivo politico finale: la caduta del regime iraniano e la fine dopo oltre quarant'anni della teocrazia del terrore di Khamenei. Un anno dopo la strage degli ebrei del 7 ottobre, siamo vicini a un volta pagina della storia.
