Washington, 19 set. (Adnkronos) - Secondo quanto riportato dal New York Times, il capo di Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, ha raccomandato per anni l'uso da parte del gruppo islamista di cercapersone anziché di telefoni per comunicare. Secondo il rapporto, l'intelligence statunitense stima che Nasrallah ritenga che si tratti di una forma di comunicazione più sicura, poiché i cercapersone non rivelano la posizione dell'utente. Il capo del Partito di Dio era inoltre preoccupato per i messaggi ricevuti da alleati anonimi, secondo cui Israele avrebbe migliorato le sue capacità di hackerare i telefoni - hanno dichiarato al giornale alcuni funzionari dell'intelligence statunitense. Per questo motivo, Nasrallah avrebbe vietato l'uso dei cellulari durante le riunioni di Hezbollah e avrebbe ordinato che i piani del gruppo terroristico non vengano mai comunicati tramite telefono, nemmeno tramite app di messaggistica criptata.
