Oms: un milione di vaccini antipolio a Gaza

Milano, 7 ago. (askanews) - "L'OMS sta inviando a Gaza più di un milione di vaccini antipolio, che saranno somministrati nelle prossime settimane. Il rilevamento della poliomielite nelle acque reflue di Gaza è un segno rivelatore che il virus sta circolando nella comunità, mettendo a rischio i bambini non vaccinati". Lo ha detto Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, direttore generale dell'Organizzazione mondiale della sanità, in una conferenza stampa a Ginevra.
