Open Arms: pm, 'Per Salvini Ong ha bighellonato per giorni, ma l'imbarcazione era giustificata'

Palermo, 14 set. (Adnkronos) - "Il ministro Matteo Salvini ha sostenuto che la nave spagnola Open Arms avrebbe "bighellonato" in acque internazionali dal 2 al 9 agosto, e dal 9 al 14 agosto, al momento in cui la nave fa ingresso in acque nazionali. Secondo il ministro la barca sarebbe arrivata due volte in un porto spagnolo. Ma questo bighellonare trova ampia giustificazione". Lo ha detto il Procuratore aggiunto di Palermo Marzia Sabella proseguendo la requisitoria del processo al vicepremier Matteo Salvini, accusato di sequestro di persona e rifiuto di atti di ufficio. "Intanto perché il porto spagnolo era molto distante - dice Sabella - Dal 9 agosto la barca aveva 147 persone a bordo, pur essendo omologata per 19 persone. La stessa Spagna era stata sollecitata dall'Italia dal 2 agosto ma ha riposto solo il 18 agosto. Il comandante Creuz sentito sui questo punto ha detto che si trattava del rispetto delle norme nazionali che finché non riceveva risposte dalla autorità a cui si era rivolto non poteva prendere alcuna iniziativa".
