"Richiesta eccessiva e illogica". L'Iran respinge gli inviti dell'Occidente a non attaccare Israele

È il 312esimo giorno di conflitto e mentre Israele teme che l'Iran e Hezbollah attacchino prima del vertice previsto per giovedì continuano gli appelli da parte dei leader del mondo di trovare un accordo. In particolare, a destare preoccupazione è l'Iran che respinge in ogni modo i numerosi appelli dell'Occidente di ritirare le minacce fatte in questi giorni contro Israele in quanto l'obiettivo è "difendere la sua sovranità e non chiede a nessuno di esercitare i suoi diritti", ha fatto sapere il portavoce del ministero degli esteri di Theran. La dichiarazione di Francia, Germania e Gran Bretagna "non ha sollevato obiezioni a crimini internazionali del regime sionista e chiede sfacciatamente all'Iran di non intraprendere alcuna azione deterrente contro un regime che ha violato la sua sovranità e integrità". Secondo i funzionari Usa, Israele non prevedeva la possibilità di risposta diretta dell'Iran dopo l'uccisione del capo politico di Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, avvenuta lo scorso 31 luglio a Theran. Per Nasser Kanani "tale appello è una richiesta eccessiva, priva di qualsiasi logica politica e contraria alle norme e alle leggi internazionali", ha proseguito Kanani.
