Tilda Swinton: spero che il film di Almodovar tocchi le persone

Roma, 8 set. (askanews) - Julianne Moore e Tilda Swinton hanno sfilato sul tappeto rosso della prima nordamericana di "The Room Next Door" (La stanza accanto) al Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Accanto a loro anche John Turturro. Il film ha appena vinto il Leone d'Oro alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, è il primo lungometraggio in lingua inglese del regista spagnolo Pedro Almodovar e parla di eutanasia attraverso la storia di una donna (Swinton) malata terminale e della sua amica (Moore) che la accompagna negli ultimi giorni di vita. "È raccontato con una tale compassione, speranza e dignità che spero tocchi le persone", ha dichiarato Tilda Swinton. "Non c'è nessuno che questo film non tocchi, perché non c'è praticamente nessuno che non sappia di cosa si parla, che non si trovi prima o poi nella situazione che il film descrive - ha detto l'attrice - tutti noi, che ci crediate o no, moriremo, tutti noi viviamo quel processo di relazioni in cui le persone muoiono, non è una sorpresa per nessuno".
