Tel Aviv, 12 ott. (askanews) - Le strade di Tel Aviv si svuotano mentre Israele, per la prima volta da decenni, osserva lo Yom Kippur, il suo giorno più sacro, mentre combatte guerre su più fronti. Dal tramonto di venerdì fino al tramonto di sabato, i mercati saranno chiusi, i voli si fermeranno e i trasporti pubblici si fermeranno mentre la maggior parte degli ebrei digiuna e prega nel Giorno dell'Espiazione. Ma le forze israeliane continueranno le operazioni contro il gruppo militante palestinese Hamas a Gaza e lo sciita Hezbollah in Libano
