Ue: Ricci, 'onore e responsabilità essere vicepresidente commissione Trasporti'

Roma, 23 lug. (Adnkronos) - "Oggi a Bruxelles iniziamo il lavoro nelle Commissioni. È un onore e una grande responsabilità essere stato eletto vicepresidente della Commissione per i Trasporti, le Infrastrutture e il Turismo qui al Parlamento europeo. Il tema delle infrastrutture e del turismo è fondamentale in Europa e in Italia, anche in ottica di Pnrr". Cosi Matteo Ricci, europarlamentare Pd, in un post sui social, a margine del voto che ha visto la sua elezione a vicepresidente della Commissione per i Trasporti, le Infrastrutture e il Turismo del Parlamento Europeo. "Lavoreremo con impegno per garantire una rete di trasporti sempre più efficiente e sostenibile nella nostra Unione, tutelando i diritti dei cittadini, garantendo la sicurezza delle reti e assicurando la crescita del turismo, un settore fondamentale per la nostra economia. Accanto a questo importante ruolo, sarò anche membro sostituto della commissione Envi, per l'Ambiente. Non possiamo sottovalutare la sfida della transizione energetica: la crisi climatica è sempre più un'emergenza e richiede risposte chiare ed efficaci. Dobbiamo impegnarci tutti per un futuro sostenibile, in grado di tutelare l'ambiente assicurando allo stesso tempo crescita e sviluppo".
