Il "Verminaio" è il mercato "mostruoso" dei dati, per usare le parole del procuratore Raffaele Cantone, emerso dalle indagini sul cosiddetto "caso Striano" dal nome del luogotenente della Guardia di Finanza che, secondo l'accusa, avrebbe compiuto vari illeciti nella banca dati della procura nazionale antimafia, quel tempio della legalità fortemente voluto dal giudice Giovanni Falcone. La violazione di dati sensibili sarebbe servita per scopi politici visto che il tenente Striano, come prova l'inchiesta, passava le informazioni riservate ad alcuni amici giornalisti che magicamente riportavano le notizie in prima pagina. Ma per conto di chi agiva Striano e perché lo faceva pur sapendo che avrebbe messo a rischio la sua carriera costellata di encomi e attestazioni di stima? Brunella Bolloli di Libero e Rita Cavallaro del Tempo hanno scritto a quattro mani questo libro dal titolo, appunto, "Il Verminaio - l'inchiesta sui dossier dell'Antimafia", edito da Baldini+Castoldi e lo presentano oggi a Roma alla sala David Sassoli, con Tommaso Cerno e tanti ospiti e interventi tra cui quello del vicepremier Matteo Salvini
